Bottle picked up from Bierkiste Getränkemarkt and consumed at home Wednesday 26th October 2022 listening to Marc Riley on 6Music. Ah... okay so this is another one of those not quite sure how to categorise beers so off it goes to Traditional Ale, completely understand and agree as I cannot pigeon hole it. Light bitterness, pours looking like a dodgy UK cask bitter in fact it tastes not unlike a ropey UK cask bitter, light fruity, a bit shallow, bit plasticy, Loz says it's a shitty perfume ale that they don't know what to do with :-). I will be honest, I won't finish it.

Murky orange with a frothy, off-white head. Smells somewhere between a Belgian and a Wit, a mix of bananas, cloves, yeasty dough and orange peel. Taste bittersweet up front, with the sweet dough-like flavor competing with an overall bitterness, then mildly bitter at the finish. Medium-bodied, moderate to mild carbonation. Not bad.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, orange, dark golden to amber colour with average, thick, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Yeasty fruity and slightly mellow malty aroma, hints of apricot, mirabelle, banana. Taste is minimally dry, grassy hoppy, slightly yeasty fruity and rather neutral malty with little residual sweetness, slightly diluted hints of apricot and mirabelle; lingering, moderately bitter, grassy hoppy finish, floral hoppy overtones throughout. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, mildly prickly, slightly foamy carbonation. Nice composition, light and drinkable - decent.

Flascherl: Deep golden to copper coloured, hazy, smaller - slowly collapsing - off-white head, sweetish bready-grainy nose with a wheaty-fruity background, yeasty traces detectable; mild sweetish-bitter flavour, accompanied by a delicate acidity, a bit fizzy, hardly medium-bodied; slightly lingering mild bitter-sweet fruity-grainy finish. Not bad, but not my cup of tea...

0.33 l bottle from 'Craftbeershop.com', best before November 2022. A little hazy, amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, gently yeasty-spicy aroma of banana, some clove and traces of pear. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, quite yeasty-spicy, maybe minimally smoky aroma of banana, caramel, some clove and light pear, followed by a short, slightly bitter, rather yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, very smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty Dampfbier!
