Bottle. Dark brown with small tan head. Flavour is malt, sweet, caramel, little bitter, fruit, little yeast, fruit, little sweet and dark fruit.

Cloudy dark brown beer. Crisp palate with a nice carbonated bite. Dry malt with some sour caramel. Subtle citrus and a dry sweet finish.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Amber colour, foamy, off-white head. Nose initially orange peel, then brown sugar and yeast. Flavour is caramel and candy sugar, yeast and some fruits. Slight alcohol kick. The excessive carbonation puts me a bit off.

750 mL bottle. Nice brown color with a big, white head. Aroma has a lot of brown sugar character with a bit of a Belgian yeast influence. Taste of yeast, candy sugar, malt and a sweet bread flavor. Aftertaste was somewhat dry and malty. Aroma and taste are very good. Overall worth your time to try.

750ml Bottle brought back from my trip to Maine. Pours out cloudy amber/brown topped with a sand head. Aroma was sweet pit fruit, caramel, brown sugar, light spice, and some rich malts. Taste was more of the sweetness but a little hop bitterness on the end to help try to balance it out.

Bottled@Kaisla, Helsinki. Slightly hazy ambery brown colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is mild zest, quite strong on the malts, mild spices as well as some slight notes of syrup. Flavour is being quite similar with some dark dry fruits as well as mild yeasty and toasted notes.

Bottle Very dark reddish brown, large thick tan head with good retention. Aroma of pumpernickel and rye bread, light spice. Taste has lots of toasted malt, burnt caramel, plenty of alcohol. Not bad.

Sweet, quite easy to drink Belgian styled ale with hints of fruits and honey in the taste. Pours dark brown with a large and foamy white head. Alcohol is well hidden, but the taste is rather bland.

Sampled @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010. Amber body with a thin off-white head. Aroma is light roasted malt, fruity and some spices. Flavor is sweet, mild roasted malt, some caramel, fruity and pleasant bitterness. A big beer with a surprisingly soft and smooth flavor.
