Celebrating Portland’s reputation as the City of Roses, we present Rose City Sour, a blend of wheat and blond ales aged in oak barrels and foudres for up to 14 months with rose petals, rose hips and hibiscus flowers. Rose City Sour captures the delicate floral aromas of fresh roses matched with notes of dried cranberries, pomegranates and hint of white pepper.

Tap. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is yoghurt, rose, fruity. Taste is yoghurt, puckering, rose pedals, hibiscus, fresh. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation, a bit fizzy. Alright.

Bottle pour from You Can in Portland. It pours pink with a small white head. The aroma is fresh, tart, floral, rose, pink lemonade, pink grapefruit and some sherbet. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, light lactic, floral, rose, pink grapefruit, lemon - lime, sherbet, good mouth - pucker and some pith with a drying finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Well rounded and quaffable. Tasty stuff.

Bottle@yesprs - Hazy orange Amber pour with small white head. Sour fruity with some herbal and floral notes, some sweet floral notes, medium body, medium sour fruity finish.

Sample from 75 cl bottle. Hazy amber golden colour with no head. Tart fruity aroma with lemons, rose hip, wooden notes. Taste is sour. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes tart fruity with rosehip. Nice.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of lemons, straw, a d berrie. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemons, straw, berries and brett, leaing to a tart finish.

75 cl bittle. Pours hazy amber, small white head. Aroma is fruity, sourish and bretty. Smooth fruity, citric. Mellow and lingering fruity. Sourish. Smooth fuity and citric finish.

(Keg at Sori Taproom, 20180331) The beer poured rosé wine coloured and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had tartness, berries, spiciness and wood. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were tartness, berries, wood, sweetness, spiciness and bitterness. Aftertaste had tartness, wood and bitterness. A pleasant tart brew with notes of berries and wood.
