Bottle split at L42, many thanks to Leighton, 23/01/17. Golden amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is tangy orange, fruit rinds, spice, wood must, funk. Taste comprises vinegar strokes, light brett pangs, funk, pissy citric tang, damp wood, barnyard, straw, gooseberries. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a tarte fruit tang. Decent enough BA saison but had better elsewhere.

Level 42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Leighton. Light haze on this gold beer, thin white head. Palate is light and dry, good carbonation. Bright lemon and orange citrus. All goes downhill rapidly, tastes like blended used band aids were added to this beer. Light dry finish. A mess.

Bottle thanks to Leighton, shared at level 42. It pours hazy dirty orange with a small beige head. The aroma is funky, farmyard, dirty, sour orange, lemon rind, oak and a touch of smoke. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, orange sherbet, wood, earthy, musty, funk and some smoke with a dry, funky finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Certainly unique. Interesting stuff.

Bottle shared on Level 42 23/01/2017. Huge thanks to Leighton for this one. A reddy orange coloured pour with a lasting beige head. Aroma is plastic, amber, funk, bretty, hairspray, raisin. Flavour is composed of phenols, pithy citrus lemon, plastic sour lemon, funky lacto, . Assertive bitting citrus bitterness. Solvent. Bit of a weird one.

Bottle shared in London - sourced from the brewery. Pours lightly hazy orange with a dense, frothy off-white head. Old wood in the nose, aged orange, citrus peel, crusty pale bread. Light sweet flavour with some chalky lemon candies, peach skin, hay, flinty minerals. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Dry finish, with a little fleshy sweat, more flinty minerals, pale grains. Kind of a strange one. Interesting.
