A deep dark clear brown ale with copper hues and thin lacing white head. Aroma of raspberry kool-aid and cough drop. Sickly sweet raspberry juice with light tartness, a bit of candy sugar, lemon. Not very good. Bieropholie import, BB 13-11-0-09

[Courtesy of yespr - session @ yespr] Hazy red with medium off white head. Sweet aroma with a huge fruit bomb and marzipan. Sweet flavor with marzipan and sweet fruits. This would have been so great if based on lambic...

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy brown to orange with a lacing white head. Nice berry fruity note and dry. Flavour is sweet yet solid fruity. Extremely nice and flavourfull. Marzipan like sweet. Goes into a dry and sweet finish. Lovely.

On tap as part of the JDW beer festival, Lloyds No 1 Bristol 16/11/07. Murky red brown colour with a slight tan head. Aroma of sweet strawberry with some other fruit lurking in the background. Flavour started with more strawberries, before raspberries and a hint of blackcurrant followed. Sweet in the main with a hint of Belgian sourness. Odd.

BottleL Poured a hazy reddish brown with a thin off white color head. The aroma is raspberry but also has a fruit bubble gum type of smell. Sweet raspberry fruit that finishes with a tangy malt flavor. I’ve tried a lot of fruit beers and this is very interesting on the palate.

Bottle: Poured a pink/reddish color ale with a big light pink foamy head with good retention but no lacing. Aroma of raspberry is dominant and is probably a mix between some real raspberry and some syrup. Taste is sweet with some light tartness form the raspberry with a good malt presence. Body is above average with some medium filtration and some medium to low carbonation. I had some really low expectation of a sweet syrupy beer but got really impress with the presence of real raspberry.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a beautiful, warm, slightly hazy amber golden with a handsome, creamy, beige head leaving laces. Distinct raspberry aroma. Medium body dominated by the very distinct and very sweet raspberry accents on the fore perfectly balanced by an underlying tartness - sort of Flemish Sour style. I had feared this would be cloyingly sweet, but actually it’s a beautifully crafted fruit beer. 150707

Brown bottle, 33 cl, best before 13/11/09, savoured on June 26 2007; eye: amber with reddish hues, no effervescence, clear, creamy beige head, quite a lot of lacing; nose: offensive as it is so sweet, big whiff of cherry syrup concentrate, Cherry Blossom, bubble gum; mouth: syrupy, sweet, cherry, Cherry Blossom, slight hint of acidity coming form likely raspberries, long finale in a concentrate of cherry mixed with bubble gum, a bit thin, extremely sweet, medium body, average carbonation; overall: way too sweet FRANÇAIS Bouteille brune, 33 cl, meilleure avant 13/11/09, savourée le 26 juin 2007; œil : ambrée dans les teintes rougeâtres, pas d’effervescence, claire, mousse beige crémeuse, pas mal de dentelle; nez : repoussant tellement c’est sucrée, grosse snif de concentré de sirop de cerises, Cherry Blossom, gomme balloune; bouche : sirupeux, sucrée, cerise, Cherry Blossom, très légère pointe d’acidité semblant venir de la framboise, longue finale en concentré de cerises mélangée avec de la gomme balloune, un peu mince, extrêmement sucrée, corps moyen, carbonatation moyenne; en résumé : vraiment trop sucrée
