Burk från Ölbutikken. Grumlig mörkt bärnstensfärgad vätska med lågt skum. Tydliga dofter av honung, bröd, röda bär och humle. Återhållen sötma och med en ren beska. Lite sträv munkänsla.

can from ølbutikken dkk 28. hazy brown, no head, but a fizz in the beginning. fruity and boozy aroma, almost as if the alc. pct. is a little too high compared to the fruity aroma. Flavor is alclohol and some berries, some licorice like spices, not really very well tasting, kinda fruity bitter. Not my kind of beer at all.

From a can into a pint glass. Huge foamy head. Nearly a gusher. Murky brown orange papery stale malt aroma. Fruity and slightly tart. Cherries I guess and I suppose passion fruit. Muddy and bizzare.

17/XI/13 - 12Fl. Oz. can from Geers (Oostakker) @ home - date: 6/8/13 (maybe canned on VI/8/13? Would surprise me as the can was in the shop on VI/17/13, but it's not impossible) (2013-1085)
Very cloudy dark beige to muddy brown beer, creamy small off-white head, unstable, dissipates immediately. Aroma: lots of caramel malts, bit chocolatey, vanilla, sweet impression, bit piny, some citrus, hint of exotic fruits. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sourish start, lemony, bit funky, bitter hops, spices, some cinnamon, bit of caramel. Aftertaste: piny hops, bit resinous, caramel and malts, some citrus, bitter ending, agrum fruits, some pineapple.

Murky brown colour, white head. Fruity aroma, light sweet, apricot, gooseberry, pineapple. Light sweet flavour, light sour touch, light cherry, bit astringent. Bit thin. Fruity finish, gooseberry, berries, grape peels. Feels like it could’ve benefited from a bit more body.

Can from somewhere not entirely sure where this one came from, however I’ll not be rushing out for another one in a hurry. Consumed in a field at Truck Festival, Steventon, Oxon 20.07.13 watching a good Irish band called ’And So I Watch You From Afar’ Pours puddle like, in fact it’s not ’puddle like’ this is a dirty, murky, puddle in a glass masquerading as a beer. Aroma is a little fruity but just a little, the taste is fruity but really aside from being able to pick out the passion fruit everything else just seems a total mess. I reckon passion fruit would work in a Lambic. I haven’t a clue what it is attempting to be but the appearance told me all I needed to know and set the tone perfectly for what was too follow. Awful stuff, I poured it away. A6 A1 T4 P2 Ov9 2.2

Head gone in secs; fully muddy, foxy red-brown beer. Bottom of the can yielding fiendish blobs of gunk. Malt, liquorice, skaileather, touch of milkchocolate, faint hops. But as to fruit??? Bitterish, ink (really!), bit metallic, bit chemical. FInish has a bit of acids, that might be fruity in origin (redcurrant? passion fruit?); but if there’s cherries here, they’re as skeletal as the good man on the can. Slick, fruitjuice-filled, but despite all the head gone, manages to feel nearly fizzy. Weird fruit on Hawaii.
