Dabinett single variety. Appel, schillen, takjes. Ruw en schorsig met gelukkig net een vleugje fruitzoeten. Maar ook zuren, een citroenachtig scherp steekje komt door het wilde funky sapje heen. Lekker natuursapje.

Bottle split in the Bruxelles fart dungeon, thanks to Fergus, 08/12/18. Light haze on a golden orange pour with a moderate off white covering. Nose is glazed apple, light sugars, straw, pear skins. Taste comprises apple orchard, light funky twang, vinous tickle, bitter sweet apple pulp, hay bale. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent.

Bottle in Hackney, thanks to Dirty D-Bag. It pours lightly hazy orange - gold with a small white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, juicy, tangy, sugared apple, apricot and peach. The taste is dry, bitter, vinous, peach, nectarine, apricot, some tartness, sherbet, gooseberry and must with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Quite smooth and well - rounded. Decent.

Bottle shared in Hackney - cheers to Danny. Pours clear yellow-gold with a small, foamy white head. Some funk in the nose, musty apples, hay. Light sweet flavour with dry musty hay bales, a little citric tang, apple skins. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with a little warmth, more lemon peel, citric bite, pale wood, musty funk. Not bad.

375ml bottle from Honest Brew. Hazy yellow gold colour with a short-lived white foam head and aroma of barnyard funk & sourish tangy apple. Taste is tart apple, horseblanket funk, with lemon citric rind, vinegary hint and a drying, tannic note. Slick mouthfeel, medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish. Nicely drinkable.

375ml bottle shared with Soph. Pours a lightly misty yellow, aroma has light cheesy funk, lemon. Taste wasnt what i expected. Has a drying sour character with perhaps more in common with an extremely dry gueuze than a cider. A light acidity rescues it a little before distant apple notes drift in on the finish. Fine natural carbonation. Could do with more of a fruity presence.
