Sweetish, dry roasty and earthy with some dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, licorice and rye. Quite heavy and dry.

Dense black body with a tan head. Complex well integrated taste profile. Unsweetened cocao, roasted coffee, black currants and a balancing touch of cream, all well blended.

Thanks to whoever traded me this on RateBeer.
Black with a small light brown head. Roasted malt, light wood, brown sugar, mild caramel and licorice. Mostly dry and roasted, but with some relatively mild sweetness backing it up.
Medium to full body, medium sweet and bitter. Dry and roasted finish.

750ml bottle.
Opaque black, gorgeous mocha brown head. Aroma of charred, burnt, dark roasted malts. Coffee, bitter cocoa, soy, and some light pine.
Mouthfeel is nice, could be a touch thicker though. The carbonation is spot on! The finish is intensly bitter, grabs your palate and won’t let go. Subtle cocoa round it out with more intense charred, roasted malts. This is a huge beer, very impressive!

473 ml can. Pours black with little head. Aromas of black coffee and roasted malts. Flavors of bitter dark coffee, a little sour, with lots of oily roasted malts. Good and clean, but not really a fan of big old style stouts that are not rich.

500 ml bottle acquired in a trade with AdamChandler. Couldn’t find a date code anywhere. Black as night appearance with a lasting cap of tan head. Rich aroma of roast, chocolate, bitter coffee, and maybe ash.

The flavor is bold. Some bitter coffee bean, burnt cocoa nibs. I am surprised how much bitterness is here. Mouth feel shows creamy texture, body is medium plus or full. The alcohol doesn’t show in the flavor but it’s definitely here in warmth. Gosh damn, this is a beast!
