Robert is a Saison brewed using both American and European malts and hops and a distinctive strain of farmhouse yeast. Primary fermentation took place in one of our unique open-top fermenters which are perfectly designed for brewing yeast forward styles like Saison. This beer has characteristics of white pepper and fruit with a lingering dry finish. Robert is refermented in the bottle and keg creating its fine carbonation.

Bottled on 2/20/25. Stemless back at the hotel before the airport cab.

Clear, bright, light gold, insanely fluffy & sticky head. No infection, it's just voluminous.
Floral sour, pungent, extra sharp citrus nose.
Citrus forward, legit coriander no dust, complex multi grain, white pepper, sour lemon, moderate acidity, sharp herbal hops, no burn.

This is honestly great.

Hazy and quite pale. Medium body, fairly yeasty, mellow hop, off dry but kind of misses for lack of any defining character.

Tasting at Ryan's, corked bottle
Hazy blond colour. The aroma is not great; it's slightly lemony, with some wet paper. Dry, soft, highly carbonated; muddy malt base, tastes like a mix of oats, wheat, rye; light funk, but, stronger than that, some vegetable bitterness.
Weird one, this was not impressive.

Poured from 375mL bottle (thanks mom for bringing back). Hazy blonde with small white head. Crisp saison yeast, quite rustic with a bit of pepper. Simple, decent.

375ml @ Ryan's. Appearance: hazy blonde with a white head. Aroma: classic Belgian saison - peppery, flowery, a bit malty. Taste: along the same lines. Overall: good for the style fans.

Bottle from John, thanks man! Bottled 4/4/22. Consumed 11/24/22. Unclear yellow, white head. Spice, lemon, and herbal notes. A touch thin, fairly flavorful. Pretty solid overall.

375ml bottle is a mostly clear gold with a huge cap of rocky white head. Nose is lovely, dried grasses and herbs, potpourri, simple wood, simple grist. Light funk. Flavor is lightly sweet and very floral, herbs, grasses. Hardly any acidity. Bone dry. Nice tannins. Crazy drinkable.
