Keg at Brewdog shepherds Bush. A murky dull brown orange coloured pour with a lasting off white head. Aroma is sweet jammy fruits, Victoria sponge cake, apricot, brown sugars. Flavour is composed medium sweet malts, toffee, jammy fruits, brown sugars, some orange citrus. Palate is medium sweet, highish carbonation, spicy. Citrus finish. Ok.

Keg at BD Clerkenwell. It pours cloudy yellow - gold with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, soft, bright, apricot, peach, juicy, dried mango, grass and weed. The taste is crisp, dry, pretty bitter actually, green hops, grassy, straw, bread, weed, over ripe stone fruits and wood with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty tasty stuff overall. Good IPA.

Tap. Doc Ponds, Stowe, VT. Hazy, pale amber. Film of white head. Nose has fusty, resinous hop. A bit cheesy and a bit earthy. Taste is oily bitter. Not particularly vibrant. Oily mouthfeel. Earthy, cheesy bitter finish. Ok. Feels old, though.

500 ml thanks to T.J. fresh bottle... aroma is awesome! Fresh citrus, mild grass, some tropical fruit hints. The flavor has some serious mosaic influence, high level of grass. Lingering grassy bitterness. I dig Singlecut’s IPA lineup.

The beer is an orangey yellow gold. It’s fairly cloudy, but it’s hard to tell how much of that is bottle handling, good bit of sediment at the bottom of the bottle. Thick foamy head, just a bit off from white. Plenty of lacing, good retention. The aroma has a nice tropical citrus hop flavor. Big on mango, kiwi, pineapple, tangerine, a little grape, a little berry. Mild lemon and pine. Little malt character. Could be a bit juicier but it’s a solid hop aroma. Taste is moderately bitter with lots of sweet hop flavor. Kiwi, melon, pineapple, grapefruit, a little pine. Mild fresh malt sweetness. Fairly dry. Mouthfeel is light with a touch of creaminess and some astringency in the finish. A touch of hop oiliness. Good stuff.

A hazed golden ale with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, very nice. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, light citrus pulp, light mineral notes, a bit light bodied, but nice. On tap at J Ryan’s.

Sample at District Tap House. Hazy golden color with a medium of-white head that burns away steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of tropical fruit, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of piney hops, fruit and toasted malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.
