A love of American microbrews is the inspiration behind this IPA, brewed with generous amounts of aromatic, American hops, which provide the significant freshness and bitterness with lots of citrus notes. The taste sensations are nicely balanced by the sweetness from the caramel malt.

Pedazo de pinta en Cimeria. Color ambar - miel oscuro.

330ml bottle from Brewdog online store. Orange brown colour, foam off-white head leaving some lacing and aroma of caramel, tropical fruits, peach, citrus & pine hoppy. Taste is sweetish malty caramel balanced with floral orange & grapefruit hop resin earthy bitterness. Slightly oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry lingering bitter finish. Very drinkable IPA.

33 cl. bottle poured in to a tulip. Amber colour with a golden tint. Small, off-white head. Fruity aroma with herbal and grass hops, citrus, caramel and bread malts. A yeasty note.Taste is light bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with citrus, slightly vinous - white wine - caramel malts, gapefruit. Actually very dry. Excellent long lasting finish. A true Mikkeller classic.

Bottle from Voldby Koebmandsgaard, DK - amber/orange pour with a medium to thin white head that leaves very nice lacing. Lovely fresh crisp citrus hoppy notes and grassy pine in both aroma and taste. Great malt character to this as well, with the 3 different malt types, really enjoyed this. Splendid.

33 cl bottle @ Olutravintola Konttori. Rated on 20.04.2010
Aroma has fruity hops, some citrus and resin. Flavour has hops, exotic fruits, resin and caramel. A solid IPA.
33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 07.02.2015
Aroma has pineapples, fruity hops, some resiny notes and caramel. Flavour has caramel, some biscuits, resiny notes and fruits. Also some alcohol‐like off‐flavour I find hard to describe – gluey notes? Finishes with gooseberry bush and grainy notes.

Bottle @ Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Originally rated on 17.9.2010. Nice, well balanced IPA. 7-4-7-3-15 = 3.7

Re-rated on 17.12.2015. 330ml bottle from Alko. BBE 27/10/17. Wow, this beer really shows how much IPAs have evolved over the last couple of years. This one feels very malty, sweet, sticky and gluey compared to the modern juicy hop bombs. Even though this is a fresh bottle, it certainly doesn’t feel so.

Too bad that the color is a little cloudy and a little darker would have been nice for me. Smell, taste and palate are marvellous.
