Taste is sweetish, malty, caramel, molasses hints, wood barrel, fruit, booze, with some bitterness. Medium bodied, light carbonation, drying woody bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Golden colour with light fluffy head. Aroma certainly delivers on the oak and sweet booze. Surprisingly strong carbonation. Dry oakiness with a slight hint of sharpness, feels quite boozy for just 8%.

Bottled 375ml. -at Goblet Zagreb. Darker golden coloured, medium sized white head, light barrel and alcohol in the nose. Sweet malty, fruity, light barrel and caramel with touch of oxidation and grainy finish. Not the freshest example.

23rd April 2022 Hazy orange gold beer, good size pale cream colour head. Lovely soft and fruity Armagnac nose. Palate is airy and mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Fluffy malts, a nice light level of creamy sweetness. The Armagnac follows the nose with a delightful soft fruity brandy that goes very well with some ripeish orange coming through on the back end. Trace of barrel induced vanilla. Finishes airy. Well thought out and well executed. Using a pale bock as a base for the barrelling was a very good shout indeed.
