One and a half tons(!) of fresh cherry puree defines this surprisingly full Stout. At 6.5% this has the body and decadence of something much bigger, it smells of darkly roasted things like chocolate and barley and coffee, the cherry offers a tart sweetness that beautifully balances the chocolate character. Like a crackling fire, it will embrace you in its Stout warmth to stave off those winter blues

440ml can bought at Vinmonopolet City Nord in Bodø. A rosewood body under a bubbly beige head, clingy lacing. Inviting chocolate smell, slightly roasted. Chocolate flavours gradually overrun by cherries. Jam-like impression. Bittersweet berries to the ending. Satisfying to a certain degree. (Bodø Panorama 28.06.2020).

Can. Pours cloudy coffee brown with airy light tan head. Clear aroma of yeast, malt and berries, with mild touches of coffee. Bitter, roasty flavour with sourish notes of berries and sweet touches of chocolate and malt. Citric and roasty aftertaste with notes of coffee and yeast. Well, this is one of those good beers that successfully combine berries and chocolate. Good stuff.

Can, 6.5%. Mild syrupy aroma. Black colour. Small brown head. The flavour is citric at first. Then comes some vanilla. A quite citric beer, but nicely fruity and with a good vanilla base.
