Kehrwieder Hamburger Senatsbock 2022, Milkshake-Edition, Fläschchen vom Craftbeer-Shop.com. - Tiefdunkelbraun, dunkelbeigefarbener Schaum. - In der Nase weiche Süße von Karamelbonbons, Vanilleeis, Milchkaffee, zart seifig, nur milde aber gediegene Hopfenherbe. - Antrunk weich und satt dunkelmalzig mit verhaltener, durch weiche Karamelsüße und Milchzucker gedämpfter Röstigkeit. Anklänge an Mokka, Asche und Vanille. Milder rezent, hefeweich, vollmundig, nicht restlos kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang feine holzige Herbe. - Origineller dunkler Bock mit tiefer, weicher Röstmalzigkeit und reicher Karamelsüße, angereichert mit Milchkaffee, Vanille und einem Hauch von Weinbrandkirsche. Bottle from Beyond Beer. Medium dark brown with a big head. Light roasted chocolate malt nose but not so whopping for a dark beer. The flavor is sweet, definitely hits the caramel vanilla part of the name. Slightly nutty. Not too complex and reminds me of a caramel vanilla latte (without the coffee flavor I guess - substitute Rostmalz).

Sensory Session #50: [Senatsbockanstich] deep brown color and a nice off-white head. Doughy, hoppy nose, roasted malts, Lactose. Sweet taste of caramel and vanilla, Lactose sweetener, dark roasted malts, smooth mouthfeeling, bitter-hoppy finish.

Bottle picked up from Craftbeer- shop (online shop), Parchim, Germany, had this sat in Frank camper at Lenggrieser mountain Camping Friday 27th January 2022 taking part in the live online tasting event. Pours dark brown with a mid sized light beige head. This bock has lactose in it according to the brewer, to be fair to him it's been incorporated carefully, the chocolate has been softened, there is some carame. It's milky with a little vanilla, a little creamy. Good.

Aus der Flasche beim Hamburger Senatsbock Anstich 2022-01 getrunken. Dieses fast schwarze Bockbier hat eine sehr kräftige und recht stabile Schaumkrone. In der Nase startet das Bock noch mit der Schaumkrone mit einer etwas unschönen Magensäure Note, die aber dann schnell verschwindet. Die Idee ein Vanille-Karamell Milkshake Bock hier zu kreiieren kann ich nicht nachvollziehen, da hier mir die Vanille komplett fehlt. Es hat aber eine schöne weiche Karamell/Malz-Note mit einem ganz cremigen Mundgefühl. Im Abgang bekommt es ein schönes Schokoladen Aroma. Nicht schlecht dieses Bock - Prost!
