Can from Aldi. Clear golden body with a thick white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of grapefruit and fresh lemon. Flavour of orange barley and dough. Medium body with a slick mouthfeel. Light fizz. The aroma is bright and zesty and almost carries through to the flavour. Overall it’s pretty solid.

Can. Bright clear gold with small white head. Aroma of slightly artificial grapefruit extract with a basic malt background. Taste of tinny grapefruit flavouring although not unpleasant, resinous mouthfeel, spiky carbonation, building almost harsh bitterness possibly from hop extract as not getting much hop flavour. Very poor for an IPA but more than drinkable.

440ml can from a local Aldi: BBE February 2026, drank at home on 22nd November 2024 after driving to Heathrow Airport and back (picking up daughter and two granddaughters), knackered! Golden body, white crown. Grapefruit aroma and taste, other citrus fruits join in as you sip it. Brewed in Scotland according to the can, but not where!

Can from Aldi near Murdos in Aberdeen. It pours clear golden - amber with a thick, frothy white head. The aroma is pithy, zesty, tangy, bitter citrus peel, grapefruit, blood orange, campari, marmalade and gummy candy. The taste is drying, touch of bitterness, tannic, pithy, grapefruit, campari, blood orange, waxy citrus peel, soapy vibes, peppery spice, grassy and a nip of raw alcohol with drying, waxy grapefruit finish. Average body and moderate, prickly carbonation. A bit rough around the edges. Has some campari vibes.

Blik gedeeld door Koenzie geprobeerd met Roelzie. Het is een helder goudgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van grapefruit. De tijd grapefruit achtig en hoppig.

[44cl can from Aldi, Bracknell.] Presumably Aldi’s take on Brewdog’s Elvis Juice. A clear pale amber pour with a pesky white head; grapefruit aroma; sweet malty body with lots of grapefruit flavours; then a clean crisp grapefruit finish with a lingering citrusy bitterness. Very drinkable; an excellent clone beer.
