One of our range of single hopped beers, brewed only using Waimea hops. Described as straw coloured with a fresh noble hop aroma, a floral lemon zest bitterness and a fresh bitter finish. Very quaffable!

Cask at the Saracen’s Head, Worcester on 12th April 2025. Clear gold with shallow, lasting whitish foam and full lacing. Zesty peel aroma. Exquisitely bitter in liquid pass and long finish. Light body and a smooth mouthfeel. Superb.

Handpull cask at the Kings Head, Leicester. Mid-gold and clear with a small white head. Really muted aroma, some citrus and straw. Bittersweet taste, tropical fruit notes. Bitterness of the hop really shining through. Long bitter finish. A simple but enjoyable beer, maybe needs a bit more power behind it.

Cask @ Calans, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a creamy head. Floral and fruity in its nose, the hop imparts a gritty bitterness over its light citrus fruitiness.

Light haze on this gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry and crisp. Light malts, something of wheaty vibe. Hops are floral bitter, not quite soapy, but heading there. Light citrus, pithy grapefruit. Pretty dry finish. Okay.

Cask at the The Lower Angel, Warrington on Saturday 28th March 2015 Mallinsons make cracking low abv beers and at 3.8% this is another typically decent Mallinsons beer, no whistles or bells just a solid, decent, hoppy like, golden beer. Small white filmy head, fruity, nicely bitter. Enjoyable. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5
