Bottle. Cloudy orange, golden foam. Light fruity, a bit mealy and yoghurtlike aroma. Medium light body. Strange grainy entry, light fruity yeast notes, dry grassy metallic hops. some orangepeel retronasal, bitter on the palate. Feels a bit green to be honest.

Bottle shared with Koelschtrinker. A clear amber beer with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of grainy mid sweet malt, caramelish malt. Taste of caramelish malt, dry grainy malt, bread.

Heller, süßlich karamelliger Beginn. Getreide, karamellig bleibend, weiche und milde Herbe. Geringe Würzigkeit, süffig. Okay, unspektakulär. 8/8/8/8/9/8

500 ml bottle. Unclear pale amber, small head. A lot of hay, malt, a bit lemon, grain. Medium dry bitterness. Medium to light bodied, watery texture, dry finish. A bit bland, but drinkable and better than expected.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, amber colour with a firm and medium-sized off-white foamy head. Malt-accented nose with hints of caramel and biscuits, as well as doughy and subtle fruity notes. Moderately sweet and delicately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a rather strong carbonation as most of the other Bitburger brews. Mildly bready malty taste with doughy notes and shades of caramel, accompanied by slightly herbal and delicately grassy hops, getting slightly stronger towards the doughy malty, sweet and slightly bitter finish. Better than expected, still not great. 27.II.18
