In July 2021 our brewer Tiago picked up 500kg of organic cherries from Karel Vaes to make this red & sour delight. After a carbonic maceration of just the cherries, we added wort on top for a spontaneous fermentation before 6 months of barrel-ageing in oak.⁣

75cl bottle @ Christmas tasting in blackhaddocks beer cave. Hazed pink appearance. Cherry central πŸ’πŸ’πŸ’ lovely wild lambic cherry nose, woody shades, good cherry fruit, could be sharper but lovely overall.

Christmas Gathering, 18th December 2023. 5 guys at my gaff drinking beer and talking bollocks. Clear 75cl bottle, beer bottled in March 2022. Mucky red body, wisp on top. Sour cherries, not much more to say!

Draught@TCBW2022. Murky red colour with a pinkish small head. Aroma is cherries, and strong such. Flavour is very nice tart/sour cherries along with some wooden and a bit rhubarb like tones too. Kind of very sour, but also some slight sweetness to it. Nicely dry palate.

Head gone in seconds over clear cherry-red beer, well-carbonated. Superb cherry nose, as fresh cherries with a dash of lactic acid. Rhubarb, redcurrant and other berries. Again outspoken (sour) cherries in the taste, and redcurrant. Drievruchtenjam without the sugars. Fruitdelight with some lambic-y lactic acid. Light body, acidthinning and light -burn, good carbonation. Excellent fruitbeer, really great!

Bottle sample @ Swafff! 2022 - shared with the Gentse Biervereniging team. Still trying to see what justified BBP to be the most expensive brewer at the festival for their bottle pour - 3 tokens / 6€ for 12cl, roughly 3.5x the price of the bottle at the shop. Managed to get small 1 token pour. Later as people were not buying, their had lowered the cost.
