Bottle of Helles. Amber gold-ish with a hint of haze, moderate head. Nose is very mild, I hardly smell anything, just a hint of malt. Flavor is pretty thin, a bit of grain and bitterness, little body. Nothing particularly bad but it reminds me of an Asian lager to drink in the burning sun on the beach, not a German Helles.

From bottle. Pale malts, hay, grain, straw, bread, light citrus. Mild dry bitterness, malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, mild dry finish. A mild, but round and drinkable Helles.

Had this again Friday 10th March 2023, picked up from Gessellschaftsbrauerei Getrankemarkt in Viechtach, consumed at home Friday 10th March 2023 listening to Steve Lamaq on 6Music. Re-rate because this is a better beer than the 3.5 rating I gave it in the rating below. Really good, simple, tasty ticks all the right boxes. 3.8 Bottle picked up locally and consumed at home Tuesday 10th August 2021, at Beer School with Nat. It has been a lovely day today🌞. Pours clear gold with a white head, it looks good. Pleasant malty sweet beer. Mellow grassy hops, nice aroma, hops show a little more here. Enjoyed this.

Bottle, 4.8%. Good dusty aroma with a whiff of rough hops. Almost clear golden colour. Big stable white head. The flavour is malty and dusty with a faint floral hoppiness. Citric finish. Clean.

500ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, deep golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly spicy, minimally strawy, pale malty aroma, herbal-grassy, hoppy overtones, a minimally doughy, yeasty touch. Taste is moderately bitter, herbal-grassy hoppy, spicy pale malty, minimally mineral, weak, doughy yeasty overtones, very subtle sweetness, a minimally biscuity touch, some sorrel-like tartness as well. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Very clean, well balanced, drinkable - good.

Flaschbier. Lightly cake and fruity malt, medium body, mellow mouthfeel, light chewy. Light grassy and herbal hop finish. Pleasant.

Süffiger, mild süß-hefiger Beginn. Etwas Banane, geringe Herbe, wenig störende Trockenheit, da die milden Aromen dennoch durchkommen. Spritzig, minimal grasig, langer, trocken herb-hefiger Nachgeschmack. 9/9/11/9/8/9

Vollbier hell von der Gesellschaftsbrauerei Viechtach, Flasche von Bierlinie, Prenzlauer Berg. - Satt goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase dezente, eigenwillige krautige Hopfenherbe mit zitronigen Spitzen, zart toastiges helles Malz und ein Hauch von Landluft (Kuhstall), der stets etwas Besonderes verspricht. - Antrunk weich und etwas blaß hellmalzig mit zarter Münchner-Malz-Note. Sehr dezente Süße. Blasse aber elegante zitrusfruchtige Hopfenherbe, Anklänge an Pampelmusenschale. Mild rezent, fein mineralisch. Im Abgang wieder die charakterisch blasse aber hintergründige Hopfung, gefolgt von einem langen, komplexen Nachtrunk. - Sehr individuelles Bier, für ein Helles äußerst elegant gehopft, komplex aber nicht exzentrisch, unglaublich rund und süffig. Es liegen Welten zwischen einem solchen Bier und einem Allerwelts-Hellen. (28.9.2019.)
