Can from Morrisons. Pours a cloudy light amber with small white head. Aroma is big on pine, grapefruit and citrus zest as well as herbal and biscuit notes. Taste is the same but has more of a subtle balance than I was expecting from the aroma. Pine is evident but its not particularly resinous or bitter in character so finish is more about the malts than the hops. Nice body and carbonation. Maybe they've played it too safe with this one. I still enjoyed it though.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A rich amber coloured pour with a scant covering of white head; aroma of orange peel and malt; bitter marmalade taste to start; followed by a slowly growing resinous bitterness and a warmth in the belly. A good West Coast style IPA.
