Bottle 0.33l, well, aged for some time... Black, opaque. AROMA- nice aged character, red wine, dark chocolate, licorice. FLAVOR- neutral, lightly bitter, the same as aroma, pleasant aged character a bit similar to Oud Bruin. Fuller bodied. Very tasty.

Bottle 33 cl. Opaque, murky dark brown with a fizzy, dissipating light brown head. Lovely, spicy oak atop subtle roast, vanilla as well. Medium body, quite fizzy, again subtle roast, lovely berry notes blending in with the oak which is surprisingly mellow and Bourbon-like. Lovely. 111219

Bottle shared with daniele. Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma beige leggera. Al naso leggera nota vinosa, di caffé, cioccolatino al cherry, lieve solvente. In bocca è appena dolce, con leggera acidità vinosa, di frutta rossa, e una chiusura leggermente astringente. Corpo pieno, carbonazione leggera. Andrebbe rifinita un po', comunque interessante.

Color negro con espuma tostada duradera. Aroma con notas intensas a vino tinto, madera y algo de frutos rojos. Sabor muy similar al aroma con prodominio de las notas vínicas, ligeramente ácida. Carbonatación alta en final con notas a maltas asadas.

Bottle picked up from Más Ibus Despacho de Cervezas, Torrelavega, Northern Spain, consumed at home Wednesday 3rd September 2018. Superb aroma, its like Loz says its a wonderful aged old wood aged sherry. Superb, this is so drinkable, the red wine ageing gives a lovely aged feel to this, it also offers up a very good winey tang, the base stout is great but the red wine ageing elevates this to another level. I love an Impy that offers a little more than the usual indulgent, silky smooth, roasty coffee types (Btw I like them as well though) this is fabulous. A9 A4 T9 P4 Ov18 4.4

Tap @ Craft beer Helsinki, Ullanlinna. As Cervesa Guineu / Toccalmatto Il Goloso. Poured dark brown color with a thin white head Woody, vanilla, roastedness and some red wine wibes in aroma. Flavor has red wine notes, vanilla, sweetness and wood. Long finish, full bodied. Tasty. I asked about the version from the brewer, this was not the barrel version.

Pours black with an immense head, very frothy, good retention. Very acidic/sour aroma, a lot of dark berry aromas, some oak, spices, lot of sour cherries. Medium body, spicy, thickish mouthfeel. Flavour is rather complex, lot of sour cherries again, fruity in general, medium sweetness, but also considerably sour. Nice dark malts, some roastiness. Lot of oak, almost too much. Long oaky, slightly boozy, malty finish. Really interesting and very nice once it warms up and you get into it. 8/4/8/4/15 Update 26.08.2018: Had on tap at Van Moll festival, it has improved considerably. Almost no acidity and more complexity. Delicious.
