Sampled from 75cl bottle thanks to Joes. Murky yellow-orange color, small off-white head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma has alcohol, liquor, some sweetness. Taste lightly malts, liquor, some sweetness. Great balance, lovely beer.

Sample at local tasting @ Brouwerij Oirschots Bier. Clear golden colour with a small white head. Smells quite alcoholic, nuts, wood, glue, nailpolish. Tastes wood, hazelnut, almonds, slightly alcoholic. Quite a strong one, fizzy carbo, dry mouthfeel.

Gene bought me one of these at Paradiso Dupont. On tap. Pours a murky orange with some thin white head. Nice flavor, almost like lemoncello, some yeasty esters, light candy, kaffir lime. Smells a bit like a cocktail. Flavor is lightly sweet, lightly astringent, lightly spicy, herbal, citrus, over ripened fruit, booze. Full, herbal, astringent finish. Very unique, and a beer for cocktail drinkers.

75cl bottle from Geers shared with Tomaz.

Aroma is moderate malty, alcohol, light wood, moderate to heavy riped fruit. Flavour is heavy with a long duration, a bit messy, riped fruit, buzzy, alcohol - gin. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. [20120804]

Bottle at Chriso’s 2012 Pre-GBBF Shindig, London. Pours hazy gold with a fine white head. Hugely sugary nose, heavy on the doughy malts, with other notes of ripe fruits, apricots and lemon. Hugely sweet flavor (go figure!) with big sweet dough, alcohol, yeast, gin. Full bodied with fine, tingly carbonation. Hot finish, some sting, with lots of sugary malts, alcohol-soaked white bread. Lasting heat. I don’t think my rating makes this beer sound very good, but it was actually pretty decent.

Bottled. A hazy dark amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of fruit and juniper berries. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, juniper berries, malt, and fruits, leading to a dry, bitter, and alcoholic finish.
