A roasted, mature beer. An atypical, light and refreshing brown with coppery highlights made from a subtle blend of caramelized and roasted blond malt. It is surprisingly fine.

Bottle. dark amber color. Nutty aroma with caramel and apple. Thinnish. Nutty malty flavor with apple. Sticky mouthfeel.

Bottle, many thanks to my good friend Niels for sharing. Clear dark red-brown color, small beige head. Aroma of malts and caramel. Taste malts, caramel, slightly roasty, leaves. Lightly watery texture, low to average body, medium carbonation.

Bottle 330ml. @ chriso s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2012.Clear medium to light amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, oxidide, light roasted. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average duration, vintage - oxidide. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120804]

ChrisOs Marvellous Pre GBBF Mega Tasting. Light haze on this amber beer. Little white head. Light dry palate. Oxidised malt, paper, dry. Trace of fruit underneath. Bleh!

Bottle at Chriso’s 2012 Pre-GBBF Shindig, London. Amber pour with a fine, white foam head and tons of sediment. Caramel malt nose, some cereal. Medium sweet flavor, berries, caramel and toffee. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. OK finish, medium sweetness, more caramel, some brown sugar. Fine.

Bottle at Chris O’s pre-GBBF shindig, 2012. Brown pour with a white head. Brown sugar and licorice aroma. Licorice, toffee and orchard fruit flavour. Dry.

Bottled@chriso pre-gbbf shindig 2012. Deep brown colour with a small off-white head. Some particles floating around. Aroma is fruity, wooden, nectary and nutty with some slight oxidized notes. Flavour is fruity, caramelly, nutty with some mild toffee and some toasted notes.
