Canned 500ml. -from local Lidl. Clear golden coloured, medium sized white head, grainy nose. Sweetish malty, grainy, bready, some herbal touch and sweet cereals in the finish. Ok for the price.

500 ml can. Clear golden, fluffy head. Mellow grain and cereal, slightly metallic, egg shells, egg white, cardboard. Grainy metallic bittersweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry malty grainy rather dull finish. Okay for what it is, basically an Oettinger Helles. Not that bad, actually quite decent at first but finishes a bit bland and dull.

Can from Lidl Supermarket, Manchester. Clear golden with a head. Drinkable but blandish effort with a mild soapiness about it.

Half litre can: BB 21st September 2024. Obtained from a local Lidl (Hadley) and drank at Auntie Sue's house on Christmas Eve 2023. What an unremarkable beer, almost odourless and tasteless. Very slight graininess and watery.

Can, 0.5l. As Perlenbacher Bavarian Lager Beer. Clear golden pour, one finger soapy white head, medium retention. Broken lacing on the glass. Usual lager nose, malts and grains, a bit on the sweet side. Grassy notes in the background. Light body, medium carbonation. Average mouthfeel and texture, lightweight, slightly watery, refreshing and easily drinkable. Balanced bittersweet taste. Aroma of malt, grains and grass. Light citrus notes, slightly dusty. Short lasting finish, lingering bitterness. Ok.

Can from Lidl at the München ZOB. Clear golden body, off-white head. Some herbal-flowery touches, bit dusty, lightly fruity. Sweetish-dryish, flat, malty, slightly herbal taste, moving towards cardboard. Huh, feels older than it is... --- Beer aliased from original tick of Perlenbacher Bavarian Lager Beer on 31 Dec 2024 at 21:41 - Score: Appearance - 7 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 5. Original review text: 0.5l can, Perlenbacher Bavarian Helles Beer, from Lidl Poljička, Split. Clear golden body, white head. Dry herbal hoppy, bit minerally aroma. Dry taste, quite a bit minerally and herbal, light - no real residual sweetness characteristic for the style. Feels a bit cheap, but, on the other hand, it IS cheap, so there you go.
