Poured from a 375 ml, 2020 / 2021 vintage bottle. Aroma is moderately grape forward with a juicy, fruity grape note along with some lighter grape must. Lighter earthy, herbal, leathery funk notes. Hints of lemon and oak. Light grain and alcohol notes. Pours a hazy, golden-orange color with some reddish hues and a small, moderately thick, frothy white head that disappears quickly. No lacing and faint legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with a light acidity and light grain notes. Low bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderate grape must notes with lighter fruity grape notes. Light earthy, herbal funk with hints of lemon and stone fruit. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid lambic. The grape is a bit more pronounced in this one but the lambic still comes through nicely. Decent funk and fun grape notes.
Super dry. A bit of funk but it’s got a bit of a wine flavor.

Bottle from the 'Meerts' box from Hopduvel. Hazy golden, small, white head. Aroma of plum, apricot, white grape, white wine, hay, leather, sweaty cheese, peach, wood, orange zeset, thyme, moist white pepper. Taste has sour apricot, orange flesh & rhubarb over a sourdough-like malt base with lemon-acidic, grape skin-like and slightly bitter thyme aspects. Soft peppery hops in the finish, ongoing sour grape, lemon, drying thyme and mouth-puckering woody tannins (white wine effect). Medium body, moussy texture, average carbonation. Plenty of grape pleasantness with a herbal twist, lovely.
