For this summer twist on our Criquet, we let it ferment for a few months on our house brett culture & then infused it with a generous dose of verbena & berries.

Couleur pâle/orange, col fin blanc-rosé peu tenace.
Arôme présente de fins effluves de baies - framboises surtout, avec un rétro-nasal délicat des herbes/plantes dont il est très difficile de reconnaître le nom.
Palais est de suite marqué par une acidité prenante sans être surfaite - à cela s'ajoute l'apport de baies rouges - rappelant la framboise qui ressort avec son côté terreux, acidulé. Le tout est assez sec et se ponctue d'un apport un peu botanique des différents plantes/herbes. Sur la fin, l'acidité revient à la charge et me paraît un peu trop haute laissant ce côté grinçant sur les dents.

On tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels, Sunday 2nd October 2022. Pours a murky pinkish colour with a filmy pink head. Woah, this smells really farmy, fruity but with woah....cowshit. fruity in the mouth but struggle with the nose.

Hazy orange-pinkish, thinning, white head. Aroma of lime, blood orange, herbs, redcurrant, sour plum, grape, leaves. Taste has sour plum, grape, berries and sour cream, slight lemon, bit funky. Tart, mouth-puckering finish almost, lots of unripe fruit, herbs and lemon-flavoured Napoléon candy. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Very refreshing and elegant.

Orange colour with no head. It's like sherbet. Sharpness of lemon. Layers of sweet and sour but overall quite acidic. Thinnish texture.

Little cloudy bright red beer, practically no head. Aroma: very fruity, lots of raspberries, fruity, lovely stuff going on here, lots of fresh raspberries, very intense. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice clean acidity up front, a little bitter, fruity fruity, lemony, lots of raspberries and other red fruits, lovely stuff! Aftertaste: fruity, lots of berries, raspberries, gentle bitter touch in the finish as well.
