Dark brown with a frothy, beige head. Aroma promises red currant and strongly roasted grains. Taste is roasted bitter with a lingering, bitter finish. Medium bodied, moderate to mild carbonation, dry. Well balanced bock without the usual dominating caramel sweetness. Instead it lingers underneath and around the edges, balanced nicely by the burnt tones. Nice.

"Köbi Böck", "Schwarzes Bockbier", Fläschchen von Ambrosetti, 29.8.2025. - Tiefdunkelbraun, sparsamer Schaum.

Bottle. Brown. Burned wood, oak, leather, bread, cream. Front heavy foamy, then flat. Sticky honey bread.

Medium brown. Aroma is lime chestnut caramel mushroom. Taste is sour chalk with light bitter chestnut and light sweet caramel. A bit too much chalk for me. Ok.

Bottled, again, cute label. Hazy dark brown body, thick, lasting, creamy tan head. Malty notes, bit of cocoa, some light green apple. Lean, dry taste, bit sweetish-citric in a way, some maltiness, very much dried out like the others but the sweetish nutty malty notes raise it slightly. Okay enough!

Bottle. Clear brown color with off-white head. Aroma is strawy, chocolate, bready. Taste is the same, a bit overattenuated, foamy mouthfeel. Alright.

330ml bottle. Almost opaque, almost black colour with ruby shimmer and huge, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, resettling, moderately lacing, off-white to beige head. Roasty, spicy and minimally chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of burnt caramel, some liquorice, a touch of toffee. Taste is slightly dry, roasty and chocolately, slightly spicy and minimally tart-ish, dark malty, minimally diluted notes of liquorice, dark chocolate, some toffee and burnt caramel. Minimally creamy, watery texture, smooth and slightly dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Quite some dirty aspects - not bad.

Thanks Dominik! Dark brown colour, beige foam. Rather roasty bock with sweet caramel hints, hoppy bitter finish.

Short 0,33 l bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! A darkest brown, nearly black with red edges in the glass. Small one finger foamy beige head. Malty and berry fruity on the nose. Taste is intensive roasted malty, dark berry fruity in the background. Some bitterhop. Low carbonated as expected. Little bit alcoholic. Nice one.
