From bottle. Mostly grainy, grassy, some rye bread, metal, lemon. Dry bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry metallic grainy bitter finish. Okay Pilsner, but expected much more..

Vielanker Pilsener, Flasche von Getränkeland, Rostock. Ungefiltert und vegan - was für ein Stuß. - Kupfergold, schwach trüb. - In der Nase schlanke, frische zitronige und grasige Hopfung, zart karamelsüßes Malz, deutliche Butter, Hefe. - Antrunk schlank karamelmalzig und einigermaßen kernig gehopft, frische zitronenschalige und grasige Herbe. Schöne Restsüße. Leise Hefe. Stark rezent. Im Abgang aromatische Bittere. - Leicht rustikales aber angenehmes Bier, bei dem zwar die solide Hopfung, nicht aber die hefig-karamelligen Züge der angegebenen Biersorte entsprechen. (27.5.2024.)

Bottled (thanks Johannes!). Hazy yellow colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is herbal, grassy, some mild citrusy and sweet grainy tones. Flavour is bready and grainy with some crisp herbal and mild citrusy and grassy tones.

[50cl flip top bottle bought in Wanemunde, Germany.] An amber pour with a thick cream coloured head; malty aroma; malty taste with some dark rye bread; and an acidic rye bitterness. Rather unpleasant.

On-tap in the Gassen Krug, Schwerin on 15th October 2021. Clear golden body, white crown on top. Malty front to the nose and taste, a slight herbal trace gives some interest, otherwise it's just a regular Pilsener. I've had it before; Green Week in Berlin, no idea which year. I remember the vehicle the used as their bar but not the beer!

Bottle. Slightly cloudy dark orange with a massive white head. Aroma of malts and grains. Taste is grainy, malty and a little bit spicy. Grass, cracker and bread. Moderate bitterness with staying power. Medium to strong carbonation. A nice northern German Pils.

Swing top bottle. Blonde. Hints of malt and grass in the pleasant aroma. Malty grassy flavor. Bready. Soft grassy hopbitterness in the aftertaste. Well balanced and tasty, but also quite drinkable pilsener.
