Clear orange beer, small creamy white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: pretty fruity, earthy, herbal notes, nice! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice acidity, fruity, citrus, lots of lemon, pretty sourish. Aftertaste: lemony, very acidic, sour green apples.

Bottle from HoTM. It pours clear pale gold with a small, bubbly white head. The aroma is musty, funky, nutty oak, apple skin, scrumpy vibes, over ripe pear, farmyard, splash of white wine and hint of white wine vinegar. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, tart, puckering, vinous, gooseberry, white grape, appel skin, crab apples, scrumpy, straw, funk, some mellow acidity, twist of lemony citrus, dry oak and light tannin with a drying finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Fun stuff, perhaps not as complex as some of the editions, but tasty nonetheless.

Bottle at home, from HOTM online, 13/04/22. Lightly hazed orange with a fast escaping white head. Nose is sharp apple skins, vinous trace, orchard wood, lemon tinged straw, light farmyard whisper. Taste comprises apple orchard, lemon zest, modest yeast, barnyard twang, light funk, damp hay, herb, light acidic twist. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light puckering rasp at the curtain call. Solid saison.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from the brewery taproom. Pours mostly clear yellow, lightly effervescent, with a quickly fading, fizzy white head. Lightly sweet, tart, some funky apple, cellar, cobwebs, moderate acidity, bitter apple skin. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Cleansing finish, lightly funky, dry. Good stuff.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen (19/03/2022) - light hazed golden pour with a white head. Tart apple fruity, apple peel, light bramley sweetness, apple core, wooden apple washed accents, nice acidity and body, crisp and tart lingering apple finish. Delicate and lovely.

Hazy golden beer, thin lively head fizzes away quickly. Smells of slightly tart apple. Flavour has the Sharon apple again with a distinct cidery quality, some hop, a little fresh spice of some sort, a bit of a bready flavour. Nice and smooth and very fresh tasting.
