Dry with complex acidity and aroma varying batch to batch. Can be dry-hopped or re-fermented with whole fruit, such as damsons, quince or apricots.

Tart apple fruity, apple peel, light bramley sweetness, apple core, wooden apple washed accents, nice acidity and body, crisp and tart lingering apple finish. Delicate and lovely.

330ml bottle bought from a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Light gold, fairly hazy with no head. Aroma of strong cider apple skins, intense barnyard funk. Refreshing taste, just the right amount of tart, some light sweetness on the finish. Apple all the way. Body’s a bit watery, with medium carbonation. Lovely.

Bottled, huge thanks Timo & Bea! Hazy orange body, off-white head. Leathery, minerally umami.like aroma, light apple. Lean, dry, tart, leathery taste, minerally, some paint and apple, bit empty, along with aggressive tartness. Dunno, didn't work for me overall, and I normally love their beers.

Bottle from the brewery Bermondsey and drunk at home. Cloudy gold orange colour thin head. Applewood aroma. Good apple flavours. Base beer is decent. Enjoyed the apple fruit. Yep liked it. Some sweetness. Good apple flavour.

Bottle at home in the garden, after sun set, 17th June 2023. Pours a clear golden straw colour. Aroma is tart apples, funk, cider, musty and bright. Taste is apples, apple skin, cider, funk and must, tart apple and yeast. It’s refreshing and delicious

Bottle. Kernel online. Hazed gold. Fine white head. Cider lolly. Hint of a Dabinett type sweaty funk. Whiff of smoky baked apple. Taste has a smoky sweetness. Lightly tart and bitter. Clean and fresh with foamy carbonation. Light dry and lightly bitter finish.

From bottle at The Kernel Taproom in Bermondsey 18.09.22. Cloudy pale straw colour. White head is diminishing to nothing. Funky aroma and taste of fresh wild apples and lampn. Good! Acid and dry mouthfeel.

Bright clear and slightly pale gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Cider apple and more Scrumpi come leaping at you. A touch of gueuzey tartness that gets mildly acidic on the finish along with some emerging funk. Good stuff. Tart and refreshing. Now please age some in an apple brandy barrel.
