This amber blend of English bittersweet cider apples is fermented to dryness and lightly carbonated. The toffee-like aroma has notes of black pepper and ginger. The flavour is broad and full from the rich apple tannins, with caramel notes and a hint of leather, and a bold dry tannic finish.

16oz can from Press online. Mojito glass @home. Hazy, deep honey amber pour. Quick soda fizz. Semi-sweet, pithy nose, ammonia, with an approachable fresh funk. Taste is bittersweet & bitter-sharp apple, leaning sweet. Moldy leaf & caramelized. Half-fermented twang, mushroom, lemon tea, bigger farmhouse as it warms. Ends pithy, watery & lightly sweet with a spritzy carbonation. Fun, fresh farmhouse blend.

0.44 l can from ''t Biermenneke', best before May 2026. Hazy, orangeish amber with a thin, fluffy, quickly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, sourish, quite fruity and a little funky aroma of ripe apple, oak, vanilla and some walnut. Hardly sweet, fairly dry, slightly sourish, rather fruity and minimally funky taste of ripe apple, oak, hay and some walnut, followed by a short, a little tart, very dry finish. Thin to medium body, slightly astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Refreshing, rustic cider.

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.5%. Slightly hazy orange colour, pours moderately sparkling with a shortlived white head. Aroma of cider apples, spices, exotic woodwork and tannins. The flavour is dry, woody and peppery, tannins in the finish.

On tap at Cafe Fiasco. It's a lightly hazy dark golden colored cider. No head or bubbles on top, and more or less flat. The aroma has quite a lot of apple, with yeasts notes, some wood and a touch of apple cores. It's medium bodied and very lightly carbonated, with a decent acidity level. Almost tannin-ish, with more wood in the flavor than in the aroma. Apple, notes of apple cores and grass, hints of yeast and a touch of toffee in the flavor. Medium length finish. A quite refreshing cider, but I'd prefer some proper food with it, instead of drinking it as a refresher. An honest and well made no nonsense cider. 220429

On tap @ Fiasco, Oslo. Almost clear golden body without any head. Fine concentrated apple aroma, mature apple and apple core. Taste is sweet, clean apple juice, apple core, some acidity and all over pretty classic British apple cider style without any fuzz. Balanced body and decent aftertaste. Nothing complex, but a nice classic cider with a fine taste of apple.
