Forholdvis pålitelige notater fra en travel dag på The Great British Beer Festival, London 02.08.22: lett uklar gylden, tett skum helt ned. Flat munnfølelse med urter og gress. Besk avslutning.

From cask at the GBBF with Holmen1 and Stephen 03.08.22. Translucent straw colour. White head. Aroma and taste of biscuits, grains, pale malt, resins, and old tropical fruits. Waterish mouthfeel. Not great.

Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Appearance - golden yellow. The head disappeared quickly. Nose - caramel and honey. Taste - more like toffee and honey this time. Palate - creamy and light to medium bodied. The finish is very cloying. Overall - too sweet for the style.

14/8/2020. Bottle from Roy’s of Wroxham Food Hall. Pours clear pale gold with a small white head. Aroma is buttery, caramel, digestive biscuit, flowers. Medium plus sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, oily and watery texture, above average carbonation. Increasing bitterness to finish as the butter sweetness subsided. Not today’s highlight.
