Can. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth palate, airy and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Airy dark malts, good dark malt creamy sweetness, dark chocolate Malteasers. Good fruity dark chocolate. The cardamom is fruity and floral generally sits reasonably well with the chocolatey dark malts. Smooth and semi dry finish. Yeah, interesting, me noggin takes note of the unusual flavour combo, me gut says, that tastes okay but don't give me a lot of it.

Can courtesy of Baz and Jude, cheers you guys! I think that they picked this up from Hereford Beer House. Consumed at new house Manghlam, Innernzell, Bayerisch Wald Thursday 10th August 2023 listening to Tom Ravenscroft and Deb Grant new Music Fix Show on 6Music. We BBQ'd tonight, outside on the lawn, but now sat on the balcony, it's been a glorious day but now getting a little bit cooler. For our tea tonight, we had Afghan Kebabs which I made with Nan breads made by Loz. This pours black and is topped off by a very brown head. The description is spot on with chocolate and spice (cardamom in particular) showing. Thick mouthfeel, the taste following a similar trajectory, chocolate, cardamom with a little sweetness and the liquorice showing, very good. After another day of painting it was nice to relax and finish off the evening with this big Impy Stout.

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 11.0%. Pitch black colour, small brown head. Distinct aroma of chocolate and cardamom, also some less pleasant hints of vomit. Sweet flavour of chocolate and cardamom, a hint of chocolate liqueur, moderate hops.

Can from the brewery online shop. Pours black with a thick tan head. Aromas of chocolate, liquorice and spice. Taste is sweet, dark chocolate, light spice, light fruit. Cocoa linger. Thick and rich. Nice.

All that was promised. You're so much better when you're not doing silly things, dear brewer. This is thick, rich, velvety and decadent. Sweet, bit roasty, lots of chocolate and the cardemom isn't really bothering me.
