With it's gentle carbonation it lifts the tropical fruit-forward character, leaving with just an edge of bitterness, making it endlessly drinkable and refreshingly modern.
Slipway is more than just a beer - it’s a nod to the historic slipways that line Cornwall’s rugged coastline. These sloped ramps, once used to launch fishing boats into the Atlantic, are symbols of the region’s deep maritime roots. Just like those slipways, our session beer is just the beginning of an adventure.
Slipway is your taste of the Cornish coast in a glass.

440ml can, gifted by the brewery. Hazy yellow with a dense white head. Aroma of orange and grapefruit. Taste is the same, citrus hop forward, orange, grapefruit, stone fruits, light pine, light bitter hop finish. Medium bodied. Nice easy going session IPA.

440ml can from Sainsbury's Shrewsbury. Pours an unclear pale gold, white head. Zesty citrus aroma. Flavour profile consists of fresh hop grapefruit.. easy going, nicely sessionable, moderate bitter close. Decent.

Can from Beer52. Fairly hazy gold with small white top. Aroma of apricot, slightly jammy, flora, soft malts. Taste of soft apricot and mango fruitiness with a creamy oat and light floral bitterness. Medium bodied, fairly creamy for the strength, soft to fine carbonation. OK finish, could do with some more oomph but this is the best of the 4 St Ives beers I've tried to date. Quite tasty.

[44cl can from Beer52.] A hazy amber pour with a sudsy white head; tropical fruit aroma; refreshing fruity taste with some melon and grape; then a light bitterness and fruity finish.

Lichte body.
