Imperial Stout – die dunkle Seite der Macht. Eingebraut nach irischem Vorbild präsentiert sich der kräftige Sondersud durch das Röstmalz mit tiefschwarzer Farbe. Obendrauf thront die cremige Schaumblume. Im Geruch sind schon die ersten Kaffeenoten zu spüren. Der wuchtige Körper des Stouts flutet die Zunge mit seinen Aromen von Zartbitterschokolade und Espresso. Im Nachgang vereinen sich die fruchtigen Hopfen-

A black beer with a beige head. Aroma of mid sweet dark malt, chocolate, some coffee. Taste of mid sweet strong dark malt, liquorice, melasse, coffee and chocolate.

Tap. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, solid hops, roast. Taste is chocolate, roast, grassy hops, a bit yeasty. Smooth mouthfeel, but feels a bit muddled, soft carbonation. Tasty, quite well-hidden alcohol.

On tap at Hopdog. Super dark, light brown head. Very tasty, nice balance of mild sweetness and big smooth bitterness. Lots of coffee and roasted notes, biscuit, fruit notes like a fancy coffee, maybe from the hops. Excellent balance for a ten percenter!

On tap at Hopdog, München, Friday 13th January 2023. Pours shark eye black with a fast disappearing light beige head. Coffee is apparent but not overly so, a little fruity plum skin tanginess, a little roastiness throughout, a softness throughout. Good.
