We hebben het bier 12 maanden op witte wijn vaten laten rijpen en hebben de laatste 4 maanden een flinke lading bosbessen hieraan toegevoegd. Dit zurige robijnkleurige bier heeft een sterk rode wijn karakter met kruidige noten en een fruitige body en is licht bitter.

Sampled @ BAF Rotterdam 2018. A hazy reddish pink beer with a small white ring. Aroma of red berries, red grapes, wine. Taste of sour blueberries, red wine, nice.

BAF 2018. Thank you for sharing! Sampled draft. Looks like blueberry juice. Nose is dirty metallic, rotting fruit, spoiled, not good. Highly fizzy. Strangely bitter blueberry skins, rotting, tannins, off, spoiled blueberry wine, fizzy thin,… Doesn’t feel right.

Draft at Borefts After Festival ‘18. Hazy reddish brown with a ring off white head. Aroma of lightly tart red fruits, oak, light funk and citrus. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at BAF. Hazy dark red with not much head. Massive blueberries, mint, soft sour grains, wet herbs, more blueberries, funk, hay. Medium sour, light sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Sampled during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2018. Fluorescent red color, no head. Smell and taste are quite nice: very nice soft tart and lovely fruity berries in there. I like it!

Bottle sample at CB'18. Hazy purple-ish colour, pink head. Aroma is funky, berries, light earthy, wood, light acidic. Flavour follows, blueberries, light dirt, wood, funk, tart finish. Not very refined. Light bodied.

@Carnivale Brettanomyces #7, Café Schuim, mooie bloed rode kleur met lichte witte kraag. aroma van bosbessen, rood fruit, lichte paardendeken, smaken zijn dun, glad, veel rood fruit, hout en droog. ok
