A Collaboration with our good friends the Wild Beer Co.

This Mountain IPA is inspired by the classic west coast bitterness and east coast juiciness of some of our favourite American beer styles.

Showcasing Idaho 7 and Strata hops, leading notes of juicy stone-fruit and pine are followed by a classic bitter finish.

440ml can. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, tropical citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter, with a fresh, crisp, tart grapefruit, light dry pepper spice, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Can from Sainsbury's Supermarket, Salford Media City. Mildly hazy golden brew with a head. Has soft citrus fruits providing its flavour, although in combination with its strength they are not that flavoursome.

Can at home in Hackney et - picked up from Sainsbury’s. Pours unclear orange-gold with a tight, creamy white head. Lightly sweet, fairly dry and chalky, some citrus peel, light astringency. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Drying finish, some tangerine, dried pale malts, a little chalky minerality. So so overall.

Cloudy golden beer, white head. Smells of sweet fruit and grassy hop. Flavour follows suit. Sweet citrus, grapefruit, pine, grassy hope. Nicely balanced and probably a bit too drinkable. Nice juicy finish.
