Draft at Billie’s Beer Festival ‘18. Black with a ring brown head. Aroma of tart cherry upfront with chocolate, fudge, caramel and brownies behind. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate sour. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Really could have done without the sour cherries.

Sampled @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2018, Day 2. A black beer with a small tan head. Aroma of sour cherries, plums, dark malt. Taste of sour cherries, lactic fruits, dark malt.
Thanks! Sampled draft @ Billie’s Beer Festival 2018. Day 2. I love the other version so much but the sour cherry totally ruins this beer. Black syrup. Nose is sour cherry dominates everything plus weird sour coffee, chocolate, molasses, low umami. Taste is same sour cherry dominates too much and doesn’t work with the coffee, grounds, charcoal, molasses, little carbonation syrup, quite a mess.

Clear black beer, practically no head. Aroma: lots of roast, alcohol, bit fruity, some chocolate. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty sour start, lots of sour cherries, some lacto-acidity, roasted, bitter finish. Aftertaste: roasted, sourish, lots of chocolate, bitter, nice acidity, fruity.
