This version is a different recipe and it is brewed with the famous vietnamese coffee ca phe chon, that has travelled trough the intestinal system of a weasel.

Draft at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014, Session 3. Pours murky brown-black with a thin, tan cream head. Faint old, earthy coffee throughout, some dried wood, vague cocoa. Medium bodied with fine, soft carbonation. Moderately astringent on the finish, flinty, earthy, some more mild chocolate notes. Messy from start to finish. A shame, as Beer Geek Breakfast is one of my favourite beers. I hope to try this again sometime because something seems amiss.

Draught @ CBC 2014

Pours pitch black with a smooth brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, coffee, mudcake, espresso and cocoa. Taste is smooth with loads of coffee, roastiness, mudcake, espresso and cocoa. Finish is roasty, sweetish and heavy with coffee & espresso notes. Quite good.

Angenehm schokoladiger Geruch, ausgewogen, sehr leicht hopfig. 11/11/12/12//11

Cask (or Draught?)@EBF 20008. Rating found on back of receiptsI found when packing up stuff from moving. Pretty much a pitch black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is coffee, licorice, some roasted malts and also shows some slight notes of alcohol and nuts. Flavour is coffee, licorice, some roasted tones as well as some mild notes of bittenress.

Cask @ EBF 2008. Black body with a small beige head. Aroma is coffee and roasted malt, somehow a bit raw. Flavor is not raw at all, mild but distinct coffee, chocolate and roasted malt. Well balanced between sweet and bitter with a dominating coffee flavor, very nice.

Had this at EBF Kobenhaven 12-09-08. Pours thick and oily, hoppy smooth, really bitter stout. The coffee is stunning, really clings to the mouth, black in colour and brown at edges with a beige head.
