Light amber with off white head - Malt and yeasty aroma - malt and herbal flavours with yeast - The yeasty flavour goes into the finish - To much yeast flavours to be any good

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.5%. Slightly hazy brown colour, large to moderate off-white head. Herbal aroma (of the flowers of meadowsweet and rosebay willowherb, which both are part of the recipe here), also notes of brown malts, Bitter herbal flavour, sharpish finish, interesting more than really good.

8-3-7-4-14 Bottle, #276, eight months before bbd. Pours hazy rusty brown, with a big creamy head. Aroma is roasted malts with spicy notes of rye and caramels, as well as earthy hops with herbal notes. Full body, average carbonation. Flavour is roasted malts with spicy notes of rye bread and caramels, as well as earthy hops with floral notes and herbs. Semi dry finish. Refreshing and moreish.

Bottled (from Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Amber colour small beigeish head. Aroma is floral, some herbal and mild wooden tones. Flavour is floral, some herbal, mild and some caramel and earthy tones. Kind of darkish and caramelly thing for a Saison.

Amber colour, steady beige head. Caramel and some grainyness in the nose. Light-bodied. Caramel, some grain, no Saison in this one.

33cl bottle at Vasa tasting. poured dark amber in color. Toffee and caramel light creamy and malty. Full bodied. Pretty good overall.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet, Lillehammer. Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, bready, fruity, spicy and flowers. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. 080223

Bottle. God looking, almost clear with a fine head. Aroma feels a bit skunky but not 100% sure if this is the case. Distinct malt, bread, dry fruit with an herbal touch. Taste is sweet malt, slightly frame in taste, ripe fruit, bread and herbs in an almost harsh way. Did not like this one much. Theoretical I think meadowsweet might be a fine ingrediency in a saison as it has a touch of honey, but so far I have not find this very successful in the samples I have tried so far.

0,33 flaske fra VP Verksgata, hjemme: vakker rødlig kastanjefarge og fint skum som varer. Fin aroma av malt, karamell, urter og noe floralt. Smaken følger opp. Jeg aner ikke hvordan mjødurt- og geitramsblomster smaker, men resultatet er vellykket. Fin bitterhet i avslutningen. Mersmaken bringer tankene hen mot en god ESB.

Lukt: Høy, gjær, frukter. Utseende: Mørk gulbrun. Skum/kullsyre: Tykt dekkende skum, heng, mye karbo ved helling. Smak: Høy, gjær, urter, beisk avslutning.
