Bottle from LCB, consumed 7 days past BBE. Pours a cloudy gold with small fluffy white head. Aroma has that Belgium yeast, bread, passionfruit, flora. Taste has a lovely juicy fruity character with passionfruit, tangerine and grapefruit combined with bitter floral and grassy hops and a solid light bready malt. Light spiciness also. Medium bodied, very fine carbonation. Very good.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Caps and Taps. Pours mostly clear gold with a foamy, white head. Light-medium sweet flavour with gorgeous biscuity pale malts, melon, rindy tangerine, subtle grass, straw and citrus peel. Medium bodied with massaging carbonation. Grassy bitterness to finish, some husky pale grains, further citrus rind. Super, highly drinkable.

330 ml, bottled 18 Jan 23. Golden body, with a big, frothy, lacing, white head. Aroma of pine needles, mango, lychee, citrus, flowers, some grass, some doughy yeast. Tastes similar, with more herbal, grassy notes. Medium mouthfeel, with a quite lively carbonation. Finishes crisp, bitter, dry, very hoppy, slightly yeasty, fruity, citric, with long-lasting pine. As always crisp and perfectly balanced, with loads of hops and just enough body. This time with more focus on tropical fruit notes, while the typical pine spiciness is also noticeable throughout. Complex and very quaffable. Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 16

Bottle from Raynville Superstore. It pours lightly hazy golden - blonde with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, bready malt, cereal, toasted almond, almond croissant, some stone fruits, apricot, peach, Fanta and orange marmalade. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, pleasing bitterness which lingers, pithy, zesty, orange, tangerine, kumquat, baked goods, muffin, orange blossom, orange sherbet, bready malt, touch herbal/minty and a small nip of booze with a drying, bitter finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation.
