Slightly unclear amber golden body under a small off-white head. Aroma has caramel malt, coffee, cinnamon and chocolate. Taste is sweet malt, caramel, chocolate, cinnamon and low bitterness. Balanced body and same aftertaste. Definitely a pastry beer, but not too bad even with a lots of pastry flavors. Nice for a few sips.

Can, at Patrick's. It's almost clear in the glass, dark golden with an off-white head. Cinnamon, caramel, sugar, fruitiness, pepper and some coffee. It's full bodied and smooth on the palate, nicely carbonated, with a gentle bitterness. Cinnamon, sugar, fruityness, some pale malts and a generic spiciness. Lasting finish. Delicious, sort of pale ale meets stout. 240118

Can from Hop In Craft Beer, Halifax. Amber with a small head. Not quite feeling its strength, this white stout packs in plenty of flavour for this style including chocolate, but it's somewhat hoppy as well. The fusion is good

Draft at The Colmore, Birmingham. Poured a mostly clear medium amber colour with a big everlasting, frothy white head and lots of champagne bubbles. The aroma is Tonka beans and toffee. The flavour is strong sweet, with a silky smooth, rich, light oily, toffee, herbal, light floral, warm boozy alcohol bitter palate. Over medium bodied with lively carbonation.
