A clear golden beer with a big white head. Aroma of decent grassy and floral hops. Taste of mild grassy hops, floral hops, straw, pale malt, moderate bitterness.

Frühlingsgenuss aus der Gesellschaftsbrauerei Viechtach, Flasche von Getränkeland, Rostock (ein unerwarteter Fund am anderen Ende Deutschlands). - Satt goldgelb, blank. - In der Nase sehr angenehme, leicht exotische Hopfung mit Anklängen an Mango, Brombeere, schwarze Johannisbeere, Ananas und Grapefruit, dazu eine Spur von Tabak. - Im Antrunk sehr gediegene aber nirgends übertriebene Hopfung mit den oben genannten Aromen, perfekt auf den sauberen Malzkörper eines klassischen niederbairischen Hellen (mit leiser Honignote) abgestimmt. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im köstlich trockenen Abgang mit eleganter, fein pampelmusiger Bittere abgerundet. - Sehr gediegener, unbeschwerter Frühlingsgenuß mit unkonventioneller aber überlegt dosierter Hopfung. (16.4.2024.)

Bottle, thanks a lot Fin! Very light haze on golden shine, fine carbonation, white lace. Floral hop aroma. Medium to full soft body, fine sparkles, citric and (elder)flowery hops, a bit kiwi, light, pleasant, indeed very much tastes like spring. Lovely.

Bottle ordered from the brewery webshop and consumed at home Wednesday 17th May 2023 listening to Steve Lamaq on 6Music and about to start cooking Either Cannelloni or Salmon and Cream Cheese stuffed Pasta Shells. Pours mid gold with a very, very slight haze, tbf it's barely noticeable. There is a nice, lovely, soft carbonation and a little dryness afterwards, but good hoppiness, it's got a classic light citrus crisp bite. This reminds me of a very good classic, hoppy golden beer from someone like Crouch Vale or Oakham in the UK.

Der „Frühlingsgenuss“ aus Viechtach erinnert von der ganzen Machart doch sehr stark an den „Sommertraum“ aus dem benachbarten Zwiesel. Ein Schelm wer Böses dabei denkt... Helle, recht klare Farbe. Blumig, fruchtig, hopfiger Geruch. Der Schaum schmeckt etwas metallisch. Das ist beim Bier nur noch zu erahnen. Hier haben Frucht und Hopfen die Hauptrolle. Leicht florale und kernige getreidige Noten spielen mit rein. Eher leichter Körper. Gut trinkbar. Nicht nur im Frühling zu genießen, ganz besonders auch in heißen Sommern.

Flascherl (Dank am See! ): Golden, hazy, stable white head with a good lacework, mild to moderate dryish citrussy and floral nose, pale malt underneath; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, both fizzy and soft; lingering smooth lemony and pale malty finish. Klobouk dolu! Well balanced, well drinkable...

Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass deep golden, nice head. Starts fine malty, modest dry. Fresh hoppy notes as well. Notes of some tropical fruits. Mild sweetness in the background. Finish well balanced. Nice one!

Bottle from the brewery’s Webshop. Pale golden yellow, tall white head, lovely hoppy nose with tropical fruit. Shy and elegant malty base, lots of aromatic hops, low bitterness and impressively aromatic, with tropical fruit and shy citrus fruit. Very well balanced, a delight!
