Bottle 33 cl. Pours thick and black like motor oil leaving fatty curtains in the class. The head is tiny and brown. Lovely sweet aroma of coconut and vanilla with coffee lurking in the background. Rich sweet roast with dominating coconut. Low carbonation and an odd, disturbing tartness. Good yet flawed. 250226

Fles gekregen van Roelzie en Shannon voor ons 25 jarig jubileum. Het is een diep donkerbruin tot zwart bier met een beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van kokos. De smaak is fruitig, fris zuur en kokos achtig met een hint rum in de afdronk.

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of cinnamon up front, tonka beans, chocolate notes, a bit sugary, caramel, more chocolate, sweet impression. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: bitter start, lots of alcohol, cinnamon, tonka beans, some vanilla. Aftertaste: a hoppy bitterness, resinous, soft roast, grains, some coffee, dark chocolate.

Tap. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma of chocolate, nougath, bourbon, biscuits, light cofffe. Taste is waffles, biscuit, cocoa, roasted coffee, bourbon, nougath, toffee. Alcohol is dangerously hidden. Nice.

Bottle at Drinkoteka. Enormous thanks Barba & Elena! Pitch black body, off-white head. Cocoa, light vanilla and pleasant wood notes in the cakey aroma, sweetish, but lean enough. Lean, dry, bitterish taste, cake-like from the malt-vanilla combo, bit soapy, heaps of wood, solid kick of prunes from another glass, but on top of all of that, I repeat, dry and bitter! Very, very bitter! Maybe too bitter? Not sure, but the name is extremely correct - anti-cake, but it's a bit much at moments.

From tap at Van Moll Fest 2025. Sweet dark malt with roast, chocolate, rum barrel, big cocoa, some vanilla, alcohol. Medium sweet with a moderate bitterness. Full body. Sweet, bit boozy, rich barrel and roasted/chocolate notes.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Near opaque dark brown beer, small but tidy tan head. Smooth and relatively light palate, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, soft creamy dark chocolate. Soft Rum fruits, very smooth, a vague caramel vibe, feels like Malteasers may have been added to the brew, trace of soft but rich coffee. Comes together very well indeed. Smooth but rich, dark and flavoursome and very easy to drink.

330ml bottle. Pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma of coffee, dark roasty malts, rum, oak, coconut. Taste is sweet, coffee dominant, dark roasty chocolatey malts, coconut, vanilla, oaky, some rum, warming booze, bitter finish. Medium bodied, very smooth. Outstanding.
