North meets south in this Danish Ale lavishly hopped with Motueka, Pacifica and Wai-iti from New Zealand.

The bready malt character balances out the bitterness from a heavy hop bill, letting the tropical fruit flavors and floral aromas of these southern hemisphere hops shine.

10 May 2024. At Hal 16 (Dok Brewing). Cheers to the Teamleader crew!

A: clear yellow, thin, white head.
A: lime, starfruit, kiwi, melon, wheat.
T: sourish kiwi, starfruit, wheat, bitter grapefruit.
F: bitter grapefruit peel, tart lime.
P: medium body, watery texture, average carbonation.
Balanced in itself but I'm missing a more 'logical' structure that connects all the dots.

18/V/24 - on tap @ DOK Brewing Company (Gent), BB: n/a (2024-327)

Clear pale light blond beer, creamy white head, a little stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: nice, funky, white grapes, some kiwi, passion fruits, floral, elder flower. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: gentle acidity, not as complex as I might’ve hoped, a bitter touch, ok but pretty boring for a wild ale. Aftertaste: some passion fruit, a little bitter, dry, some tannins. Smells better and more complex than it tastes.
