Draught @ Hopleaf, Chicago (Oct 2024). Faintly clear burgundy red with very small frothy off-white head, acidic-woodsy aroma, low carbonation, medium tart woodsy grape taste, basement flavors, thin body, long tart finish. Quite funky taste that overpowers though the grape flavor is there.

Dark ruby body, with a small head. Aroma of moderate cheesy yeast, red grapes. Tastes similar, with more red wine. Medium mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes smooth, vinous, fruity, a bit funky, wooden. Beautiful. Great balance between the funky, rustic base beer and the grapes. Drinks so elegant and smooth. Score: 8 / 4 / 9 / 4 / 17

Draught at Ammutsøn, Wien. Cloudy, reddish colored. AROMA- sour, leather, red wine, cherry, plum, touch of balsamico. FLAVOR- very smooth, neutral, moderately sour, no bitterness, red wine, dark grapes, leather. Medium bodied. Very good.

Clear purple red beer with a white lacing. Aroma of sour red fruits, cherries, red grapes. Taste of red grapes, berries, cherries, some lactic fruits.

02.07.2023: Taster from 0,75l bottle in Sint-Truiden. Yellow hazy color, small white head. Smells Raspberries, funky, berry notes, lactic, spices. Nice to very nice smell. Full body, soft carbonation. Tastes berry, raspberries, grassy, earthy, lactic, some funk, some grapes. Finishes lightly dry and light to medium sour with notes of grapes, berry notes and some funk. Very nice, but raspberries are not totally my thing

07.07.2024: Taster From bottle at home. Deep Red color, small white head. smells vinous, spices, earthy, herbs. Nice to very nice smell full body, soft carbonation. tastes vinous, Red wine, herbal, peppery. finishes lightly dry and light to medium sour with notes of vinous notes, Red wine and peppery notes. Lovely

Darker, but still bright red beer, going to russet; no head. Fresh red berries, grapes, red wine. Aroma's indeed reminding of Baghaven products. Hints of noble rot. Sourish, currants, red grapes, hints at (good) rosé wine. Light to medium bodied; looks uncarbonated but has some spritziness. Refreshing even. Excellent! Thanks to Evert!
