Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Pours a clear dark brown colour with a reddish hue and a medium sized off-white head. Aromas of caramel, roasted malts, dark red fruits, nuts and brown bread. Taste is pretty much the same notes as the aroma. Fairly light bodied and a smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Average but nice enough Dunkel.

Brewed by Hasen Bräu Augsburg. Caramel and apple syrup in the aroma. Roast, dark chocolate and caramel in the flavor. Malty sweetish, but not too sweet. Good balance, pity I didn’t like the aroma that much. Brewed by Tucher Nürnberg: Malt and toffee in the aroma. Chocolate, toffee and caramel in the malty sweet flavor. Somewhat buttery and sticky, but a nice and tasty beer. Peach in the aftertaste. 6 3 7 3 12 = 3.1

Bottle. Color: Dark amber, beige head. Aroma: Caramel, malty. Taste: Caramel, bit sugary, malty, roasted malt. Moderate to medium sweet. Some hopbitterness, mostly at finish. Smooth mouthfeel. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Ok, but nothing more than just an ordinary German Dunkel.
