Run-of-the-mill solid crisp dark lager. It is clean and easy drinking. Nothing wrong, but not a ton of flavour either. D&S Dresden(revised up to 3.7 from 3.5) Lots of crisp malty sweetness

Bodney Towers Bottleshare. Thanks to Fergus. Clear Amber beer, bubbly cream colour head. Palate is light, and fairly dry. Reasonable fine carbonation. Light and tangy malts period a little dried fruits, also tangy. Trace of floral. Light dry finish. Standard German affair.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Fergus. Pours clear amber with a small, creamy off-white head. The nose is pretty malty, brown bread, berries. Medium sweet flavour, low bitterness, sugary brown bread. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with toasted brown bread, some early-leafy hops, leather, toffee. Not bad.

Dark copper with quickly vanishing tan head. Aroma is nuts, esters, candle wax, a little roast. Taste is a little spicy and not chocolaty sweet, even a bit musty sourness. Mouthfeel is a little thicker than water, average carbonation, however the finish reminds me of chalk powder on my tongue. Overall nice aromas, but the rest was kind of unlikable.
