Blend of 1 & 2 year old lambics with maceration of peach & nectarine from Veneto, Italy.

The fruit used consists of five different varieties, including two white peaches, two yellow peaches and one nectarine. These were hand-picked from orchards in Italy and brought straight from the grower.

Each variety is blended separately with lambic to then macerate for several months, then co-blended and barrel-aged further after maceration.

The beautiful stonefruit perfume is carried by a firm mouthfeel and decent acidity. Lots of wood and fruit character!

Fermented, aged & bottled on the farm.

Hazy pale orange colour with no head. Peach skins and tangerine juice. Quite citrusy. Perhaps too acidic.

Bottle @ Telfords. Unclear, orange golden body under a small, fast disappearing white head. Aroma has peach with a touch of clementine, tangerine and mild funk with a hint of hair shampoo. Taste is acidic peach with tangerine, lime, wood and mild funk. Balanced body with strong fruity aftertaste. Unusually but nice.

Pours very hazed orangeblonde. Small to no white head. Scent is yoghurty, peach. Very intense and fruity, milder on nectarine. Taste is full, rich fruityness, very yoghurty. Medium acidity. Quite lovely !

Bottle, 75cl wine corked. A lightly hazy orange colored beer with some white bubbles. The aroma feels a bit artificial, chemical, but very fruity. Peach and some clementine. Funky notes. It's full bodied and softly carbonated, dry, yet with a light sweetness. Peach, clementine, some lemon and a light funk. Then even more peach, with peach leading the finish. Interesting, nice indeed. 241107

23/VII/24 - 75cl bottle @ Alengrin’s place, BB: 9/I/34, lot: 23/24-09, 2024 edition (2024-576) Thanks to Alengrin for sharing the bottle!

Pretty cloudy blond light orange beer, small creamy white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: pretty fruity, unripe peaches. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sourish, very fruity, lots of peaches indeed, unripe, very sourish, acidic, lemony, a little bitter. Aftertaste: more lemony, malic acid, woody touch, fruity, some unripe peaches and peach skin, tannins, hint of sulphur, some strong acidic burn in the back of the throat, ok but not great.
