What if you combine peanuts and chocolate with an Imperial Stout? By adding a balanced amount of peanuts and chocolate you get, in addition to the roasted malt and caramel aromas of the stout, a soft hint of these beautiful additions. The combination of ingredients provides a nice round aftertaste.

Brown with a creamy, dark beige head. Aroma promises roasted peanuts and vanilla with some light, fruit candy undertones. Taste is moderate sweet the whole way through. Faint, faint tartness and lots of peanuts at the end. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Decent. Unlike a lot of dessert stouts, you can drink a half bottle without finding it noxious by the end.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is roasted malt with plenty of peanut, milk chocolate, vanilla, caramel, nuts. Flavour is sweet with a pretty firm bitterness. Medium body, lacks thickness. Delivers on the peanut, lacks depth.

From a 330ml bottle on 3/4/2024. Pours a slightly opaque dark brown with a smallish head. Has a fairly strong peanut nose with milk chocolate in the background. The flavour is all choc and peanut but more intense and impressive - fairly sweet and luxurious up front, but with a lovely, really firm and slightly lingering bitterness that balances things out beautifully. Has a slightly syrupy mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Am really quite surprised at the modest scores given for this to date. It absolutely slaughters the Black Albert I tried the other night in terms of enjoyment. Outstanding stuff.

Bottle courtesy of Jonas, had this at Dave's, Unterhaching MΓΌnchen RB tasting group, Friday 21st July 2023. Pours caramel in colour with a filmy off white head. Dusty peanut powder on the nose, and much more peanut than chocolate. Taste is more skewed towards peanut and the chocolate is completely battered into submission by a peanut attack.

Bottle. Clear brown. Nose is salty peanuts, milk chocolate, jam. Taste is chalky, syrup sweet, then peanuts. Sweet. But could be worse.

Bottle. Dark brown with moderate head. Wow, super peanut nose, cacao and maybe a bit artificial. Flavor is decent, super nutty, pretty sweet dessert type o pastry Bier. Nice but not too complex, it's just big peanut.

Bottle. Darkest brown with shine, brown tan. Snickers nose, more salt, peanut snacks. Medium full body, dry salt, sweet chocolate and peanut, fizz. Fun, but one trick pony.
